شكل المقاومة الضوئية (Light Dependent Resistor - LDR)

Experiment: LDR — Light Dependent Resistor Characterization

Objective

To investigate how the resistance of an LDR changes with illumination intensity and to determine the functional relationship between light intensity (lux) and LDR resistance.

Apparatus

Theory

An LDR is a semiconductor device whose resistance decreases as the light intensity increases. The relationship is nonlinear and can often be expressed as:

R = a × Lb

where R is resistance (Ω), L is illumination (lux), and a, b are experimental constants. By plotting log(R) vs log(L), a straight line is obtained, from which a and b can be determined.
